The scope of MEP services for the CFM Generator project at buildings 8, 9, and 31 included a comprehensive electrical upgrade focused on the integration of new generator systems. This involved the design and coordination of a 250kVA diesel generator system with automatic transfer switch (ATS), new service entrance conductors, and appropriate grounding systems. Electrical risers and panel schedules were updated to reflect the new generator connectivity and the integration with existing power distribution panels.

In accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and ASHRAE 90.1, the work was designed to comply with applicable safety, energy efficiency, and installation standards. Special attention was given to outdoor GFCI-protected and weather-rated receptacles, emergency shutoff systems (EPO), panel tagging, and UL-approved firestopping at all rated wall penetrations.
