For this project, we conducted comprehensive lightning protection system evaluations and engineering for both the Bromine and NaHS Units. Each unit involved the development of a unique and code-compliant (NFPA 780) lightning protection strategy to protect the process units. These systems included new rooftop air terminals, down conductors, ground electrodes, surge protection devices, and electrical bonding/potential-equalization. Integration was carefully designed to ensure proper bonding with electrical distribution systems.

In addition to the lightning protection surveys, our team created detailed one-line electrical diagrams and provided visual sketch appendices highlighting recommended installations. These design documents supported decision-making and streamlined construction planning. Our reports ensured safe and reliable electrical system integration that aligns with national lightning safety codes.
