At Camp Merrill, we provided a full lightning protection system design for Buildings 1, 3, and 10. Our team developed detailed plans and specifications for the installation of UL-listed air terminals, bonding conductors, and grounding networks that meet NFPA 780 and UL 96,  standards. Special care was taken to coordinate with existing roof structures and other building existing conditions. The layout included vertical and horizontal conductor paths, bonding to structural steel, protection of rooftop mechanical units, and bonding to existing building utilities.

We also addressed critical installation requirements such as exothermic welding, mechanical connections, and surge protection device integration. Final deliverables included comprehensive construction documents and specifications to guide contractors and inspectors through all stages of implementation. The system was engineered to safeguard mission-critical operations and personnel during severe weather conditions common to the region.
